APC: The Tinubu Administration will not reverse policies.

 The All Progressives Congress (APC) has urged the opposition to abandon any hopes of policy reversals under President Bola Tinubu's administration. The party emphasized the need for the opposition to support the government in fulfilling its Renewed Hope agenda, highlighting a commitment to continuity and progress in governance.

    The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has dismissed opposition claims of election rigging during the September 21 governorship election in Edo State. During a recent press briefing, PDP Board of Trustees (BoT) chairman Senator Adolphus Wabara accused the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) of manipulating the election to pave the way for a one-party state in Nigeria. He voiced concerns over the country’s worsening socio-economic conditions, attributing these issues to the policies of the APC-led government.

Over 20 people kidnapped along Mariga -Kontagora - speaker

  Over 20 passengers have reportedly been kidnapped on the Mariga-Kontagora road in Niger State, according to Barrister Abdulmalik Sarkin-Daji, the Speaker of the Niger State House of Assembly.  The incident occurred when bandits blocked the road between Baban-Lamba and Beri. Sarkin-Daji expressed concern about the military's dismissal of claims regarding bandit activities near military training grounds in Kontagora,  noting that victims previously kidnapped had reported being held in a forest close to the Kontagora Army Barracks.  He urged the military to take the feedback from affected communities seriously and work to eliminate the bandits operating in the area.  The Speaker emphasized that the military's role is to protect citizens, calling on federal authorities to address the situation effectively.
