 A Russian court has imposed a staggering fine on Google, amounting to $20 decillion, for blocking content from Russian media stations. 

This decision stems from a lengthy legal battle that began after YouTube banned certain channels linked to the Russian government in response to U.S. sanctions. 

The fine, which compounds daily, highlights the absurdity of the amount, far exceeding global GDP. 

Google, already having exited the Russian market in 2022, views the ongoing legal matters as unlikely to have a significant adverse impact on its overall operations.

NAF Plane crash in Niger State A Nigerian Air Force (NAF) aircraft went down on Saturday near Karabonde, a small community in Borgu Local Government Area of Niger State. A group of armed gunmen have kidnapped multiple travellers in Niger State,   The attack occurred along the Ibbi–Bussa road in the Mokwa–New Bussa axis after the assailants ambushed a highway and engaged in a shootout with police officers. Among those abducted is Alhaji Bawa Niworo, a former chairman of the Niger State Universal Basic Education Board (NSUBEB).  Reports indicate that he, along with others—including a lawyer identified as Barrister Ahmad—were en route to Minna, the state capital, when their convoy was intercepted and they were taken into a nearby forest.
