Security: Coalition of Northern group Met

The Coalition of Northern Groups (CNG) recently convened a significant meeting with the Federal Government in Abuja to discuss the implementation of recommendations from its Security Summit earlier this year.

Key figures in attendance included National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, Minister of Defense Muhammad Badaru Abubakar, and governors from Zamfara and Katsina states, who are directly impacted by banditry.

The meeting emphasized a collaborative approach among the Federal Government, state leaders, security agencies, and the public to address the persistent insecurity in northern Nigeria.

The adoption of these recommendations marks a crucial step towards implementing effective strategies aimed at mitigating the ongoing security challenges in the region.
