Acting COAS, Visits Sokoto

 


The news reports on recent military operations in Nigeria, including efforts by the Nigerian Army and Air Force to combat banditry, terrorism, and insurgency, particularly in the North-west region. 

The acting Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Olufemi Oluyede, visited Sokoto State to assess troop readiness, encourage the soldiers, and emphasize the importance of community support in the fight against insecurity. 

The Nigerian Air Force also launched a series of air interdiction missions under Operation Farautar Mujiya, aimed at targeting the strongholds of bandit groups in Zamfara and Kebbi states.
