#EndBadGovernance: Detened Minors, arrived Presidential Villa in Abuja

The minors who were arrested and detained in connection with the #EndBadGovernance protests have arrived at the Presidential Villa in Abuja. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu had previously directed their release and instructed that they be reunited with their families or guardians across the country.

The minors will meet with Vice-President Kashim Shettima, who is set to hand them over to their respective state governors for further coordination.

The protesters, who were initially arraigned by the Nigeria Police Force, had their cases struck out by the Federal High Court in Abuja, following a request from the Attorney General of the Federation, Lateef Fagbemi. Governors Uba Sani of Kaduna and Abba Yusuf of Kano are already present at the Presidential Villa to oversee the process. Key ministers, including those from Education, Humanitarian Affairs, and Environment, are also in attendance to facilitate the minors' release and return to their homes.
