Lukarawas , a new terrorists group emerged in Nigeria - DHQ

 

The terrorist group "Lukarawas" is  linked to ISIS, particularly in the Sahelian region, including Mali and Niger Republics. 

This group has recently emerged in Nigeria's Sokoto and Kebbi states, having crossed over from Niger republic

The *Lukarawas* group is affiliated with ISIS and represents a new wave of jihadist incursions into Nigeria, marking the first time that Sahelian jihadists have entered the country's northwest region.

The recent emergence of members of the Lakurawa sect in Sokoto State has caused significant concern among both residents and government officials. 

Locals are reporting that the presence of the group has been disrupting daily life and creating insecurity in affected communities. 

The situation has escalated to the point where it is reportedly making life unbearable for residents.

In response, the military has confirmed the presence of the sect in various communities across the state. 

This acknowledgment by the military has heightened the gravity of the situation, prompting calls for urgent action to address the growing threat posed by the sect and restore peace and order in Sokoto and Kebbi States.
