Minors detention: Brekkete Family Radio station shutdown temporary

Abuja-based Human Rights Radio has temporarily shut down operations to protest the arrest of minors during the #EndBadGovernance protest. Ahmed Isah, the station's owner, announced the decision during the Berekete Family breakfast program, expressing his shock over the situation.

Isah, who did not host the show in person, called in to voice his anger and ordered the station to go off air immediately. He stated that the station would remain closed until Tuesday for further discussion on the issue, with plans to open lines for listener opinions on Wednesday.

The arrest of the minors has drawn significant public outcry, putting additional pressure on the Tinubu administration since images of the children circulated widely.
