More than 10 students injured in a clashed between two Secondary Schools in Ilorin



On Monday, November 18, 2024, a violent clash erupted between students of Government High School and Government Day Secondary School in the Adeta area of Ilorin, Kwara State. The altercation, which began around 11 a.m., resulted in injuries to more than ten students. Witnesses reported that the conflict stemmed from a prior disagreement between the two schools, escalating into what appeared to be a reprisal attack. Some observers have linked the incident to issues of cultism and a struggle for supremacy among the students.
