War in Gaza: President Tinubu Called for an immediate end to Israel aggression in Gaza

 President Bola Tinubu, during the extraordinary Arab-Islamic Summit in Riyadh, called for an immediate end to Israeli aggression in Gaza, emphasizing that "empty condemnations" were insufficient to resolve the conflict. 

He expressed deep concern for the humanitarian situation, particularly the high number of casualties, including women and children, and the widespread destruction of infrastructure.

 Tinubu reiterated Nigeria's support for a two-state solution, where both Israelis and Palestinians can coexist in peace and security, and urged the international community to work towards a lasting resolution based on dialogue, mutual recognition, and respect for human rights. immediate end to Israeli aggression in Gaza, emphasizing that "empty condemnations" were insufficient to resolve the conflict.

  NELFUND Condemns Tuition Fee Hikes, Refund Delays by Tertiary Institutions The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has criticised what it described as unethical practices by some tertiary institutions in the implementation of the Federal Government's Student Loan Scheme. The agency accused the institutions of delaying or refusing to refund students who had already paid their tuition fees before NELFUND disbursed the loan funds.
