Governor Umaru Bago recently visited the newly renovated Mashegu Local Government Area (LGA) Secretariat, expressing satisfaction with the quality of the renovations. During his address to a massive crowd, he made several significant pledges aimed at improving the well-being of the community:

Restoration of Electricity: The governor assured the people of Mashegu town that electricity would be restored soon to enhance their quality of life and support local businesses.
New Healthcare Clinic: He announced plans for the construction of a new healthcare clinic within the council secretariat premises to ensure residents have easy access to medical services.
Water Supply Improvement: To address the town’s water scarcity issues, the state government will sink boreholes in strategic locations, providing a reliable water source for the community.
Emirate Secondary School Renovation: The governor revealed that work on the dilapidated Emirate Secondary School would commence within 24 hours. The project will include equipping the school with modern facilities to enhance educational standards.

These initiatives underscore Governor Bago's commitment to addressing key infrastructural and social challenges in Mashegu.
