Governor Bago assured that the remodelled structures would be equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to enhance service delivery. Highlighting the historical significance of the facilities, he pledged continued support for their development.
During a visit to the Palace of Sarkin Bauchin Rijau, Alhaji Sanusi Muhammad Kuki, Governor Bago informed community members about plans to reopen the vocational school and financial institution in Rijau. He also disclosed that the ongoing Kontagora-Rijau road construction would be extended to Zuru and reaffirmed his commitment to completing the 5 km Rijau township road project.
In their remarks, Sarkin Bauchin Rijau, Alhaji Sanusi Muhammad Kuki; Shehu Sale, Member representing Rijau/Magama Federal Constituency; and Danladi Kwambo, Chairman of Rijau Local Government Council, praised Governor Bago's dedication to the people and commended the ongoing road projects across the state.
As a gesture of appreciation, the title of Jarman Rijau was conferred on Governor Bago by Sarkin Bauchin Rijau for his commitment to the development of the area.
Earlier, Governor Bago inspected the Rijau-Kontagora road project and the proposed six-span bridge at Luoji, expressing satisfaction with the quality of the work. He also visited Gulbin Boka and Kwuimo communities, where he reassured residents of his administration’s commitment to providing basic social amenities.
