Despite Mass failure In JAMB results, Some Students in Niger State Excelled.

The recent JAMB results released by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board revealed that, despite fewer than 25 percent of candidates scoring 200 marks and above, some students from Niger State performed exceptionally well.

Among them was Maryam Nasir Rijau (Imam), a student of Al-Ali Secondary School, Minna, who scored an impressive 318.

Another notable performer was Imran Mansur Maburya from FUT Minna Model School, who scored 210.

According to JAMB 2025 examination statistic, more than two million candidates registered for the computer-based examination, with over 1.94 million actually taking the test between April 24 and May 5.

In a recent statistical update from the Board, JAMB disclosed that approximately 78% of candidates scored below 200 out of a possible 400 points.

According to the Audience Feedback Survey, just 0.63% (12,421 candidates) achieved scores of 300 and above, while 24,535 candidates scored under 100 marks.

JAMB Registrar, Professor Is-haq Oloyede, noted that the UTME results align with performance trends observed over the past decade.

Maburya Online Blog congratulates all Niger State and other Nigerians candidates who excelled in the just-concluded JAMB examination and wishes them success in their chosen courses of study.

We also encourage them to continue striving for excellence in their upcoming WAEC and NECO exams to secure strong academic futures.
