FG Commences Recruitment into Immigration, Civil Defence, and Other Agencies.

Federal Secretariat, Abuja

The Federal Government has officially launched the recruitment portal for several paramilitary agencies, including the Nigeria Immigration Service, the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), the Federal Fire Service, and the Nigeria Correctional Service.

Originally scheduled to begin on June 26, the recruitment process was postponed and is now open as of Monday, July 14, 2025. This update was provided in a public notice issued last month.

“The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) wishes to inform the general public that its recruitment portal, initially planned to open on Thursday, June 26, 2025, will now be accessible from Monday, July 14, 2025,” the statement partially read.

The recruitment drive aims to fill vacancies in the NSCDC, Federal Fire Service, Nigeria Correctional Service, and the Nigeria Immigration Service.

Eligible applicants must be Nigerian citizens, male or female, between the ages of 18 and 35, and must meet the required physical and medical standards.
