Sports: Real Madrid FC Congratulates Chelsea FC on it world cup Victory

Real Madrid FC has extended its congratulations to Chelsea Football Club following their victory over PSG. Chelsea triumphed over PSG to claim the title of FIFA Club World Cup Champions 2025.


It is worth recalling that Real Madrid suffered a 4-0 defeat to PSG in the semi-final, while PSG had earlier eliminated Bayern Munich with a 2-0 win in the quarter-finals. PSG were widely regarded as the favorites to win the tournament, but were handed a surprising and emphatic 3-0 defeat by Chelsea in the final, which took place in New York on Sunday, July 13, 2025.

Over 20 people kidnapped along Mariga -Kontagora - speaker

  Over 20 passengers have reportedly been kidnapped on the Mariga-Kontagora road in Niger State, according to Barrister Abdulmalik Sarkin-Daji, the Speaker of the Niger State House of Assembly.  The incident occurred when bandits blocked the road between Baban-Lamba and Beri. Sarkin-Daji expressed concern about the military's dismissal of claims regarding bandit activities near military training grounds in Kontagora,  noting that victims previously kidnapped had reported being held in a forest close to the Kontagora Army Barracks.  He urged the military to take the feedback from affected communities seriously and work to eliminate the bandits operating in the area.  The Speaker emphasized that the military's role is to protect citizens, calling on federal authorities to address the situation effectively.
